With the investment in a new state-of-the art plant in 2000, MRM has been able to produce quality coated steel coils of international standards hence making rapid penetration into various export markets. Within a period of 18 months after the commissioning of the new plant, MRM export markets grew by 70%.

By July 2003, MRM exports to over 46 countries worldwide which includes the USA, Europe, the entire African Continent, North, South and Latin America, the Asian Pacific and the Far East.

MRM has supported and made its country proud by selling the 'Made in Kenya' label in industrial products, against the background of an agriculturally based economy.
