MRM Ltd is a company that believes in ploughing back some of its earnings into projects that benefit the community. The firm is involved in a cross-section of community based activities ranging from education, environment, health, sports and civic services that are not only beneficial to residents of Mariakani, where the factory is based, but also to those from other surrounding coastal areas and the country at large.

HEALTH

MRM sponsors regular medical camps organized by the Lions’ Club of Pwani in Mariakani and surrounding towns, where poor locals are treated for different common ailments.
MRM runs a medical clinic for its staff members, which is also open to the residents of Mariakani. Members of the public who are treated at the clinic are only charged a token amount that is inclusive of consultancy and medication costs thus making the needed medical services affordable.

With technical collaboration coming from Don Bosco Schools, the center will offer courses in Computer, Motor Winding, Welding and Fabrication Technology, Tailoring, Sewing Machine Operation and Workshop Machine Operation among other courses.
